Welcome to Nepal, land of the Himalayas

Squeezed between the vastness of Tibetan plateau to the north and huge India to the south, Nepal is a paradise for adventurers. From the subtropical jungles of  Terai up to the Himalayan mountains range known as the roof top of the world, nothing can be more fulfilling experience than travelling in Nepal, the country is a remarkable natural kaleidoscope with its vast cultural repository and its extensive adventure offering. Trekking will take you over the foothills of the Himalaya through a variety of magnificent landscapes and cultures; from the snow covered peaks rivers crash down through the foothills on the way to the great plain of Ganga and offer world class rafting opportunities and the flatlands of Terai are the shelter of some Asia’s most exotic wildlife.

Travelling in Nepal is also a chance to step back in time and a unique occasion to discover a rich cultural and architectural heritage. The Kathmandu valley, encircled by a range of green terraced hills, consists of 3 fabulous cities of great historic and cultural heritage inscribed on UNESCO’world heritage list: Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. The practises and beliefs of the diverse communities living elsewhere in the kingdom have added extra colours and flavours to Nepal’s vibrant culture.
